Chỉ kinh nghiệm may mặc: quần áo cho trẻ thì nên may rộng, dài hơn một chút để phòng lớn nhanh, còn đồ cho người già thì may gọn hoặc thu vào vì vóc người thường nhỏ lại. Cũng dùng rộng hơn để nói việc liệu tính phải hợp với sự thay đổi của từng lứa tuổi.
